While you're here, we hope to share a little bit about our services, and what qualifies us to help you with what may be the largest purchase of your life. From our first contact with our clients we provide care, concern and the utmost attention to detail. When inquiring about inspection services with any company, we encourage our prospective clients to ask specific questions such as:
- Is the Inspector performing my inspection Licensed? In which States?
- How long has he/she been performing home/property inspections in that state?
- How many inspections has the Inspector performed?
- Does the inspector maintain any professional memberships and has he/she continued education?
- Does the inspector carry Errors and Omissions Insurance?
- Is a Wood Destroying Insect Inspection (also called a Termite Inspection) included in your fee and how is it performed? If not, how much extra will it cost? Is this inspection sufficient for an FHA or VA Loan?
- Has/does the inspector hold any additional licenses or certifications related to the Home Inspection field?
We encourage our clients to be present for the inspection! This is a great time to be informed about the property conditions and any components that may need attention before signing agreements. Our Inspector will arrive at the property before you (our client) to start a preview of the exterior systems and components. This is also usually the time when the inspector starts his investigation for wood destroying insects. The inspection would include all of the accessible systems and components: structural, electrical, mechanical, heating, plumbing, etc. When additional services such as Radon Testing, Water Testing or Mold Testing are performed in conjunction with a home inspection, we provide information (website, serial numbers, etc.) in the report to access test results in a timely fashion or we mail them directly to our client. Upon completion of the on-site portion of the inspection, the inspector uses the evidence he has gathered at the property to compose a report that is comprehensive and includes photography.
Property inspection reports are always confidential. We do not sell previous inspection reports.
