Privacy, Policies and Disclaimer on wehomeinspect & affiliated websites:
We collect information from you when you place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address or phone number. Any of the information we collect from you may be used in any of the following ways:
- To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs)
- To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)
- To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs)
- To process transactions. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. Cost for Services:
As of January 1, 2012, all given costs for services -verbal or in writing- including but not limited to Home Inspections, Pest (WDI) Inspections, Radon Testing, Water Testing and Mold Testing/Screenings are supplied in good faith, and do not account for erroneous information or additional charges such as returned checks or processing fees.
Property Inspection Reports:
Commercial or Home Inspection reports are confidential and for the exclusive use of our client. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer reports -or any portion of- without the express permission of our client. Authorized requests for the release of any report -or any portion of- may be subject to processing fees and/or availability.
Optional Fee Based Services:
Optional fee based services including but not limited to Radon Air Testing, Water Testing and Mold Testing/Screening reports are available (for a limited time) on the associated laboratory's website, and/or, our client may also request a mailed copy from the associated laboratory.
Although Maida Services makes efforts to ensure our clients receive their laboratory reports, it is our client's responsibility to access and retain their reports/results.
Payment Options:
Payment is accepted at the end of the on-site portion of the inspection by cash, personal check, VISA, MasterCard or Discover. Effective 1/1/2012: Fees apply to all credit card transactions and may be included in any quotation -verbal or in writing, and, any returned check is subsequently charged the vendors current overdraft fee. At Maida Services discretion: If Payment is not submitted at the inspection, reports, including Laboratory Results may be held until payment is received.
Cancellation Policy:
Maida Services reserves the right to apply a $150.00 fee for appointment changes or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled start time.
